2007 Cubs ~ Football

13 Cubs, 9 Beavers (and one nearly, but not quite a Beaver!) did the 62nd proud in the county 5 a side football tournament on Saturday

The Beaver teams and one of the Cub teams narrowly missed out on the second round. The other Cub team got down to the last 16, not bad seeing there were 50 Cub teams in the competition and were unlucky not to get through to the quarter finals.

Matthew Bryant, Jack Harris and William Webster from Cubs each received a "man of the match". With another "man of the match" going to Josh Parson from Beavers.

As usual leaders and parents went home with sore throats and no voices due to a day of very loud cheering, despite one of the Cubs commenting that we weren?t cheering loud enough!!

All went home having had a thoroughly enjoyable day
