29 Apr 2006 - We Win County Competition!
Congratulations to the 12 62nders who entered the Avon County International Cooking Competition at Woodhouse Park. Over 20 teams from all over the former County of Avon spent the day competing in various activities and challenges, culminating in a grand cook off with a given set of ingredients.
Our two teams were quite simply, superb! In the International section we came 1st and 2nd! With 4 points separating us!
In the main overall scores we also came a stunning 1st AND 2nd! Not bad for our first time entering, well done to all the hard work and effort put in by the Scouts.
