62nd Group History

In 2003 62nd Scout Group was 90 years old!

In 2013 we celebrate 100 years of Scouting at 62nd...

Here are a selection of pictures showing just a small part of the Groups past.

A current Cub Scout and Explorer Scout can trace their family back to when it all began, their great-grandfather is pictured here on the first 62nd Camp photo from 1914. The Group began in 1913 and went camping the following year, apparently they pushed a cart all the way to Clevedon!

We also had a Group band, which entered many competitions (winning a plenty!) and as the letter below shows making quite a name for themsleves!
