London 2006 - Day 1

We left Bristol Parkway rather early for a Bank Holiday Monday, after a reading of rules in a conveniently empty waiting room we managed to get all of us including our kit on the train in the short time we had. The look on the faces of other passengers in coach B was quite something...

...no need to worry though, Scouts were well behaved!

The London Underground proved another challenge. Teams were formed, from the original 'Team Daisy' to the best one of all 'Team Clive'. Thus ensuring no one would get lost we braved the crowds and again moved in on unsuspecting members of the public...

A conversation compiled between a leader and a few Scouts:

"Who use to live in this Palace then?"
"Dunno, no idea"
"I'll give you a clue, her photo is on that poster"
"Oh that woman there"
"Hmm, who is that then?"
"Oh what's her name, um, Diana!"
"Thank goodness for that..."
